Pro Wrestling

So since it's been awhile I thought I'd just post some wrestling bits I've been interested in.

First up, AEW Double or Nothing this Sunday. I'm honestly going to say it I'm more excited for Miro vs Lance Archer than anything. Miro will probably win but I think they're a great pairing. I'm not THRILLED Kenny Omega is doing a triple threat but I do like PAC and Orange Cassidy so I'll be open minded. Stadium Stampede 2 we'll see. Jericho is saying it'll be very different from the last one. Also Darby Allin is brilliant and he had a great reign with the belt even if it was a slow start with a kind of overly long feud with Team Taz. Moxley vs Nagata a few weeks back was also solid and I hope more to come on AEW/NJPW matches. If you really want some cool shit though get guys like Ishii and Suzuki in a match with Miro.

New Japan meanwhile is a little rough. Between covid outbreaks and Ospreay having to vacate it's not a good situation. Plus Okada's still hurt. I'd love to see Shingo get the belt but I won't hold my breath. Bullet Club also needs a shakeup bad though I stand by that Jay White is brilliant and that guy will be huge anywhere he goes.

I haven't been watching a lot of All Japan but I did catch Kento vs Jake Lee which was the final of the Champion Carnival. It was a short match but it was pretty brutal so I liked it.

I keep meaning to sit to watch some NOAH but I just haven't kept my focus straight. Keiji Mutoh as their champion is...interesting considering his age.

In terms of classics I rewatched Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. It's funny in hindsight now watching people boo Austin but it was a really, really good match. Bret was a crazy clever guy in the ring.
